Clementine Dam, thank you for my first yell at the top of my lungs experience. That experience, folks, was when my friend Sheng noticed movement in the waters. She thought it was ducks. I knew the body was too large to be a duck and instantly knew it was a bear with her cub. The mother bear swims to the shore and gives me this death stare. For those that have never been stared down by a mother bear it's frightening. But all is well, I yelled, the mother bear ran up the hill with cub trailing right behind. For the whole trek back to the car my senses have never been so sharp.
